IC Engine Gallery

The Cell3 definition is ideally suited to Moving Engine Mesh models.

For a 720 degree simulation, 7 separate Cell3 are used during the 4 stoke events. These Cell3 produce quality cells without the need for any sliding or coupled cells.

Within the engine class Cell3, Cam Profiles are automatically integrated and be interactively changed during the simulation.

IC Engine simulation and design is one of our areas of specialty. We have many years of both simulation and practical experience in engine design including; Inlet & exhaust port flow, Cam profiles, LES turbulence, fuel injector design & spray modeling as well as conjugate heat transfer.

This experience allows us to tailor the Cell3 to optimize engine flow characteristics.
